A’mithar Fier

The Place of Night was once known as the Citadel of the Stars during the Rhemstar Wars, it was the main fortress of defense against the invading forces of Panthians into Ta' Kanasiti. Though it is now a dark place of broken ruins filled with negative energy. The whole of the citadel stretched nearly 1 mile along the eastern shores of the Ozur River near the expanding forest of Storhet. It was a grand structure built of white and green granite with magnificent statues of the elven gods and heroes placed periodically along the outer walls.
During the Rhemstar Wars elven sorcerers werer attempting to create a magical barrier that would bar any humans from ever setting foot into the lands of Ta' Kanasiti. However, something went drastically wrong. The magical spell that the coven had been casting suddenly became filled with chaos and darkness. Many sages later believe that Azahak or perhaps even Mala had tampered with this spell. The spell fell apart and the magical energy that had been expanding from the center of the citadel turned chaotic and evil it fell upon the land destroying life and stripping the entire area for many miles north and south along the shores of Ozur River.
The citadel became a dark twisted version of itself, the once white and green walls became black, the statutes of the elven gods and heroes became twisted versions of demons and fiends.
Those elves that were caught in the fortress and along its boundaries were forever linked to this place. It is now a huge ruin of broken stone, dark hallways, and dungeons, dark smoke still rises from the darkness that has become A'mithar Fier. It is a place of death where chaos, negative energy and countless undead reign.
