The Elven Queen, the True Mother
The mother of all elven kind and the elven deities, Ammavaru (AMM-ah-VAH-roo)is the leader of all that is elven, the true elf. Elven lore indicates that elven kind were created from her breath when she and the Quarial Ta'luthin first came to Ta Los during the Time of Birth.
As the creator of elven kind, she embodies all the highest and most perfect aspects of elves, she is the perfect example of what an elf should be. She is venerated by all goodly elven kind. She is most popular with midwives, healers, poets, musicians and gardeners.
Ammavaru is the ruler of all Quarial Ta'luthin and has a strong relationship with all the elven powers, including the darker elven deities. She has also forged strong relationships with both Elal and Gishra as the creators and gods of most of the Omniverse.
Dogma and Tenets
Priests of Ammavaru are charged with upholding of the highest ideals of elvenkind, becoming the perfect embodiment of their specific elven race. It is through their Art and Craft that the priests uphold the dogma and tenets of Ammavaru.
Dogma
The Temaruhri of Ammavaru are to set themselves apart from the common elf. You are to use your minds, spirits and bodies to bring forth the beauty of the elven people. You are to allow the song of Ilo and the Tanisyl of Ta'Jahu to reign in freedom to allow the elven spirit to be unfettered and free. You are to guard against those that would attempt to destroy the elven way, both from Ni-Ta' Jahu and from Ta'Jahu. You are to ward against any force that would return elvenkind to the dark days of corruption and war.
Tenets
Ammavaru has dictated the Tylin Dra (Laws of Life):
- Refuse to be influenced by your emotion
- Avoid acts of violence when not warranted
- Protect all of elven people
- Do what you must to insure the longevity of elven kind
- Respect and Honor the ways of the Quarial Ta'luthin

Appearance
Ammavaru appears as the most perfect form of the elven kind with unearthly beauty who is attired in shining robes. Her actual physical appearance adjusts, shifting from one elven type to another every few moments so that she appears as a Tavia one moment then a Terga the next moment.
