Dwarven Language
From World of Kralis
The Dwarven Tongue of Azhdehak is a very strong, chesty sounding language that relies heavily on the use of consonants more than vowels. Most names are an accumulation of consonants with a few vowels.
Dwarven is spoken slowly, at least in comparison to Cor Shan, with strong emphasis on the subject. Both written and spoken Azhdehak is centered on the subject of the sentence, but places the subject at the end of the sentence, where the emphasis can be placed with strength. The structure of Azhdehak is the verb first, followed by the adjective or adverb then the subject or noun.
Written Azdehak is often done in ink, but can found inscribed on stone as well. This writing always goes from right to left and from down to up in vertical columns.
