Fiends

Fiends are a type of demonkind, more often referred to as devils. They are beings and creatures that inhabit most of the darker, more chaotic places in the world as well as the Celestial Omniverse. Unlike demons, that have limited access to the mortal world, fiends are the scourge of mortal kind. They come in all shapes and sizes, not to mention forms. They enjoy bullying those that are weaker than themselves and will attack mortal kind at any chance that they get. While they are beings of the darker, more evil parts of the Celestial Omniverse, they are not "trapped" by the same rules that bind demons from entering or exiting the mortal world. Fiends cross over from the Celestial by small dimensional fractures caused by wild magic or magic that has gone astray. Many times, fiends find unguarded celestial planar conduits that enter the Terra Prima which tend to open up deep within forgotten recesses of Deep Earth which allow fiends to found small, hidden cities.
There are twenty types of basic fiends that are known to the mortal world: Imps, Bhoots, Nhag, Ice Fiend, Laghakrin, Fire Fiend, Mahlbrach, Earth Fiend, Rahkshas, Air Fiend, Hadal, Erynash, Jahchin, Krachul, Pishach, Siphyn, Mhantrik, Pit Fiend, Ashiha, and Baratzu.
