Hell
From World of Kralis
The lowest part of the Gilgamrath Prime Plane extend the nine levels of Hell. Like Prax Dyn, it is where evil seeps into everything. It is a place of suffering and punishment. It is also a place of great pleasure. Hell is a deep, gloomy place, where souls are tormented and suffer greatly. Each layer is ruled by a specific demon and each layer is worse and more horrific than the one before it. Each level also is representative of a particular sin that a mortal has been judged for.
Each of the nine layers has its own type of deadly and inhospitable environments.

Jumac
The first layer of Hell is a vast, open wasteland where souls wander aimlessly for ever searching for things that they left behind in the mortal world. The layer is lit by a pale green light. Streams of bile flow through Jumac and join the River Styx, In the center of the layer sits the Citadel of the Faithless, a massive blood red structure built of igneous rock. It is commanded by the demon Ariel. Those that had no faith in the gods find themselves locked here in the hands of Ariel.
Maju
The Second layer of Hell is dominated by the never ending sea of salt.Great dunes of salt rise and fall endlessly, cresting like waves in an ocean. A constant chilling wind blows over the salt, whipping it often into spinning vortexes. Those that have been damned to wander this endless wasteland of salt are blown around endlessly by the unforgiving winds. The salt winds are deadly causing wounds from the salt and aggravating previous wounds (the wind causes 2d10 worth of damage every turn, and causes an additional d10 worth of damage to any already existing wounds every phase, unless wrapped or healed). Those that find themselves on this layer are here because they betrayed reason for pleasure. The only unmoving portion of this land is the Mount of Betrayal that lies at the center of the level. This white mount rises high above the violent dunes of salt. Many souls find themselves lost forever in its halls and dungeons. It is home to the demon Prince Balam.
Bel
The third layer of Hell is dominated by eternal rain, maledict, cold, and heavy. It is filled with a filthy mixture of shadows and of putrid water. There are thousands of floating islands where demons punish the gluttonous mortals that have been condemned to this layer of Hell. Many islands have citadels on them, the largest is the Citadel of Lies commanded by the Demon Prince of Beelzebub. The layer is also home to the monsterous dog Cerebus.
Minnara
The fourth layer of Hell is dominated by rocky mountainous regions with rivers of lava and swamps of sulfur. Here the those of great greed find eternal damnation. Horrific storms of acidic rain and bitter winds blow through this layer. Terrible creatures swim the depths of the swamps and other foul creatures fly through the storm ridden skies. A constant rain of slimy water falls on this layer as putrid water from the third layer makes its way through the various cracks of the land above the fourth.
The layer is riddled with open pits that allow travelers and the damned to accidentally make a long fall to the fifth layer of Hell. At the top of Minnara, towards the furthermost edge of the layer, sits the grand Citadel of Abrimoch, a horrific place of jagged obsidian. This layer is commanded by Astaroth, Princess of Hell.
Dis
The fifth layer of Hell is dominated by the great city of Dis. The entire layer is a burning city of iron. Infernal fires of Hell constantly scorch the walls, smoke rises from the cobblestone streets to form a layer of haze above the city. The city is filled with demonic statues, palatial mansions, burning gardens and streams of blood flow freely through out the city. The entire city is ringed by high, burning walls of iron.
The screams of the damned can be heard echoing through out the city, the dungeons beneath the city are filled with kidnapped mortals, tortured souls and other creatures. Spread through out the city are various markets from which beings and creatures from different planes meet to sell and trade their nefarious goods. The streets are always crowded with souls, demons, and mortals that make their way through this city of the damned.
This fifth layer of Hell is dominated by a single tower that rises high above the city. Called the Tower of the Infernal Furies, it is throne to the demon Prince Andras from here he commands legions of demons and undead.
Tinniac
Tinniac is a relam of cold and ice. Great shelves of ice crush against each other, chipping off into ice floes and gigantic icebergs. The land is frozen solid and yet a single river of heated blood runs through the center of the realm melting the ice as it moves, always is its direction changing as it is pushed to and fro by the great shelves of ice. The ice floes serve as platforms for many demons.
It is a place where the violent, the assassins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischief in the ic, while aataxe armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. In the center of the realm is a scorching sand desert where those who committed violence against the gods and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. At the center of this sandy desert lies the Citadel of Blasphemers that is commanded by the demon prince Baal.
Dargos
The seventh layer of Hell is a multi-leveled ampitheatre-shapped pit of despair of stone and of an hellfire iron. Each layer of the pit is filled with demons and the wretched souls damned to be here. Here frequent avalanches cascade down one side or another take all creatures unable to get out of the way to the very bottom where they are ground up in the Maw of Dargos.
The demons of this layer have wisely dug into the sides of the various levels of the pit creating an never ending maze of corridors, dungeons and torture filled rooms. the largest of these areas is known as the Halls of Domination. Here demon prince Azazel holds court and command over legions of demons.
Here those found guilty of malice, false prophets of the gods, hypocrites, and unjust are whipped by horned demons, many are wedged into holes to allow them to be crushed over and over again by the ravaging avalanches of stone. Travelers here are besieged by the sounds souls as the wail their lamentations.

Beneath its rust colored skies souls of the damned, undead and other creatures under the slavery of the various demon lords to build new cities, preparing for the next war to spread through the layer.
The abandoned cities are rarely empty as the become home to those that have found their way to this layer of hell accidentally or on purpose.
The greatest city of the realm, which has stood against countless onslaughts, sits on the edge of the layer. Called Kalisthux, it is a domed city of magnificent beauty. Unlike most cities and citadels through out Hell, Kalisthux is built with perfection in mind: straight streets, elaborate gardens, tall fountains and towers that reach high into the sky. The largest, greatest of these towers is made of red steel and sits at the city's center. Known as the Tower of Tailitu, it is the throne for the high prince of demons Abbadon.
Kamaos
The ninth and final layer of Hell belongs to the Prince of Evil Volac. As the deepest layer of hell it is immense. It spans in every direction for infinity. Kamaos is a place of legendary hellfires, broken mountains, craggy hills and a single, dark endless pit that sits in the center of the plane called Heliax. In the center of Heliax sits the City of Iron, Volac's throne of ultimate power.
