Hishnat

From World of Kralis

Hishnat is a place of empty space filled with floating islands of various types of torment and lamentations. It is a plane devoid of mercy or pity. It is where demons cavort in secret on endless islands. Each island is a place of damnation, where those that have come to the plane spend the rest of eternity wallowing in their own pity. The space between each of the tens of thousands of islands is filled with pyroclastic ash from the various volcanic islands. Many islands smash together forming gigantic islands of hellish scenes.

Of great note is the City of Yagath. It is a great metropolis of burning obsidian and shifting ash. It moves across the vastness of Hishnat slowly, make its way through the entire plane, destroying smaller islands that it slams into. It is controlled by a demon but rather by a very large, vile Aatxe. It is said that his power is nearly that of demi-deity status. He merciless controls a small legion of Abocs. It is also home to a number of lower demonic mercenaries and mortals that have sworn allegiance to the Aatxe.

Hishnat has the following traits:

Philosophy· Evil; Good creatures are unable to rest or relax; All travelers to the plane suffer a despair penalty causing all actions to suffer -50 to all attempts

Gravity· Normal (Gravity has the same effect as in the Terra)

Time· Normal (Time moves normally as in the Terra)

Energy Trait· Gain 1 point of insanity for every week within the Plane

Magic Trait· Dead (Magic does not function on this plane)

Infinite Size · The plane may expand infinitely (its borders are bound by its connections to the other planes.)

Hishnat borders Nax, Prax Dyn, Kiltaryx, and Urnuith.

Portals from Hishnat to other planes outside of Neter-Kheret appear often appear as black obelisks.

Planar Inhabitants

Hishnat is final resting place for all those that have deceived, cheated and maliciously cared only for themselves. Those here are ever searching for more power and thus move from island to island as they quest for this.

Many evil creatures make their home here willing: Yaqu, CacoDaemons, and Essence Dragons.
