Hulthar River

The Hulthar River of the Duchy of Mashrapur is formed when the rivers Athin and Halin come together where Eldor sits. It is a deep, wide river that runs for several hundred miles through the center of the Duchy. At many places the river become very shallow and swamps and bogs are formed as the river water becomes trapped in areas. In other places it seems to disappear altogether as it makes its way through a number of gorges. It is not a fast moving river filled with rapids, rather it is a dark muddy river that clears up occasionally to be able to see the bottom.
