Ice Kingdoms of Naaryn

The Ice Kingdoms of Naaryn are home to many monsters, many barbarian clans and kingdom of the Ice Lord Daza Kathiz, a vile, soulless creature that is rumored to be a yaqu (an ancient, evil undead being). The Ice Kingdoms are also home to other nations that are always on the brink of destruction by the Ice Lord. There are constant wars between the Ice Lord and these other kingdoms as they protect themselves from the onslaught invasions of undead beings, monsters and other unspeakable horrors.
The Ice Kingdoms extend from the black ice walls of Iztalik south to where the Vast stretches from west to east north of the Kingdom of Panthias. It is a place where those that do not wish to be troubled by the rest of the world come to. It is a place to forget and be forgotten.
It is home to the giants, orc hordes, barbarian clans of isande, ogres, dragons and legions of undead. The whole of the realm of ice seems to be cursed by negative energy, as though it flows through everything. There are very few days through out the realm in which the sun breaks through the dark, grey clouds that come in from the north, blowing off the black ice of Iztalik.
