Equipment

As the king of northern elfindom Lyyr is bound to the capital of Ta'Kanasiti and will not generally been seen with any equipment other than his dark green and beige royal dress, his leather boots, the royal crown of Ta'Kanasiti and the scepter of Cyathuis. He also wears the Oruh Rohjata (Jewel of Royalty) emblazoned with the symbol of Ta'Kanasiti.

Before ascending to throne after the death of his father King Myrat Tylkrilith, Lyyr could be found in his adventuring gear which included an elvish crafted scale mail (which his still retains), a triangular shaped shield known as the Shield of Rojah and wore the twin fireblades of Khaltash. On his left hand he wore a silver ring fashioned in the shape of a coiling dragon.

Magical Items

Shield of Rojah

The Shield of Rojah is made from a thin sheet of metal, allowing it to be as light as a small wood buckler but has the physical aspects of a metal tower shield. The shield is made from the rare ore of thoicar giving the whole shield a tinge of blue.

Fireblades of Khaltash

The Fireblades of Khaltash were discovered by Lyyr in one of his younger adventures after defeating the ancient fire dragon Jiazklarox. Each blade is made a steel-silver blend that is emblazoned with twisting layers of gold shaped into licking flames that extend up the blades of each. Each blade has been enchanted with a superior fine edge giving it a keen edge granting a +3 Base Damage. In addition, every turn the user can cause each blade to burst into a radiant burst of fire dealing 2d10+8 fire damage towards the target that the user is fighting against.

Elvish Crafted Splint Mail

This coat of Splint Mail is of the finest make of elvish armor within Ta' Kanasiti. It is lightweight weighing as much as a suit of leather armor. It has the ability to absorb an additional +12 points of damage per attack as well as reduce any magical damage effects by 20 points.

Combat/Tactics

Lyyr is a deep thinking tactician when it is required of the king to prepare for battle, but more often in personal combat Lyyr was know for his brash and decisive action. He is quick with his swords and quicker still with a quick taunt designed to throw off an enemy's balance.

Allies/Companions

Rayche Blackstone

The Drutah Nal Ta'Jahu

The Legion of the Wind

Foes/Enemies

King Lyyr has no direct enemies. Like many rulers through Kralis, those that would call him enemy would also call Ta' Kanasiti an enemy.

The Makcharith

The Makcharith is a devoted to the secret support of the throne of Ta' Kanasiti through any means necessary. This group of young nobles, made up primarily of the sons and daughters of the noble class, have the authority of the throne to investigate corruption, evil and traitorous acts against the throne whether or not they exist in Ta' Kanasiti or abroad. Those that attempt to rise against the throne may find themselves in dire straits, perhaps exiled from the lands of Ta' Kanasiti or found dead in their homes. Yet, while they are considered the secret enforcers of the thrones policies, they are a force of good in the name of Ta' Kanasiti, and would remove a king or queen if they failed to rule with just and wise ways.

Cult of the Chimera

Paraqu Taghik

This dark clan of fir darrig is made up of members of the twin dark cities of Thar Tagh and Dehkar Tagh. Paraqu Taghik is a very large group of mercenary soldiers from these cities. As a group they are constantly harassing the workings of the regions. They focus a great deal of their energy on disrupting the goings on within Ta' Kanasiti. While paraqu taghik is a large group it is made up of many smaller mercenary groups, each with a commanding warlord. Each of these warlords report to the high command of paraqu taghik.

The Dark Guild

While most elves work towards peacefully co-existing with each other, there are the occasional dark elves that work towards destroying this fragile peaceful existence. One such group it the Dark Guild. The Dark Guild is made up of mostly assassins, thieves, spellcasters and junda bent on the fall of the royal house of Tylkrlith. They work towards placing a dark elf upon the throne. They have used, to the ultimate demise, a number of noble elven houses to get close to the king, but each time they have been discovered and weeded out.

Appearance

For a tavia elf, King Lyyr is not a handsome elf. He is weathered by time and the few battles that he has been involved in during his reign and his adventuring youth. He has dark brown hair with streaks of silver, his once bright green eyes are now a drab green and his frame is not as straight as it once was.

Personality

King Lyyr is outwardly, extremely calm and dignified. He rarely raises his voice and waits on others to finish their thoughts, even to the point of uncomfortableness in the speaker. He is genuinely pleasant and concerned when in conversation with those of lesser status. He is concerned for the safety of all those within Ta' Kanasiti, nearly a xenophobic trait. Yet he is known for being fair-minded and trustworthy.
