Living Campaign

Welcome to the World of Kralis Wiki. The world of Kralis is a living breathing place that GMs and players of Legends of Kralis will give life to. This wiki is designed and built for everyone involved in the game to make the world a part of their own. A lot of material will be apart of the World of Kralis Fantasy Setting, but a lot of the material will only ever appear here. It is a shared community that uses the Legends of Kralis Game and the World of Kralis Live Campaign rule set.
As players and GMs of Legends of Kralis you are able to use and develop the world as you see fit, so long as development does not conflict with existing rules, descriptions or official setting material (sinking the whole of the Duchy of Harr in your campaign is not a good idea.) As players you will be able to create and post your characters online, purchase houses, write up descriptions of "Free Areas" and much more, including interacting with other players within your campaign area in order to reade information, goods, and etc.
We will develop various adventures and campaigns that each GM will be able to check out for game adventure. Most adventures will be one-shot 4 to 8 hours worth of game play material, some will be interlinked with other adventures or even part of a larger campaign. This will allow a group in Califorina that is exploring the western slopes of Panthias and the Mines of Kratuk, to post the results of the adventure and another group in Wisconsin to attempt the same mine. These results will only be viewable by other GMs that will have specific user access (GM Responsibilities). Further adventures in the mine will be further developed based on the success or failure from the events of previous adventuring attempts through the adventure. This will allow us and other GMs to keep notes on developing plots and story lines, it will also allow free development of these free areas by everyone. Ultimately, the results of these various adventures both official and un-official may influence the plots of future adventures and episodes and will allow story arcs to change, grow over time and perhaps live for several years.
This is ultimately an excercise/experiment in global cooperation, one where GMs must trust GMs and GMs to trust that FMI will not force strict, rigid administration that will not allow for much or any GM caveat on rules or setting decriptions. Yet at the same time, there needs to be a standard, else cities, villages, towns, etc., may suddenly disappear because one group of players decided to destroy it. If this fits into a greater story line, a group of evil players vs. a group of good players, etc., then that village may be destroyed or that city razed. It will be an experiment in combining an ongoing home campaign interacting with a living campaign.
Legal: No work that is created by players that is placed here will end up in the World of Kralis Setting books, unless the author and Fantasy Makers Industries come to a contractual agreement regarding this.
