Situated on the rugged hills of the Sazar Crys Mountains, Marichioas is a town of rugged and harsh individuals. Every single being here works hard, either in the deep mines of the hills or tilling the hard, red earth where only the Green Stone wheat seems to grow.
Despite the rugged outlook of this town, is not a place devoid of art or craftsman, in fact the town was founded by craftsmen and miners that came here seeking the red iron ore that they use to make great items of red steel. Because of this, there is a large and well educated segment of the population that enjoys the rough and hard work as well as spending time in the large library temple of Odiryn.
The Temple of Odiryn is the only one of its kind within 1,000 miles. Not until a traveler reaches the far Western Realms, the Southern Realms will you find another library of its kind. There are a number of lesser libraries spread through out the world, but none can compare to the 7 Library Temples of Odiryn.
