Myr Woods

Located in the southern regions of the Duchy, the Forest of Myr is a dark, cool, and vast. A number of elves make their home in this wood as well sprite-kin, and a number of aciries. It is the largest forest in the Southern Realms and acts like a border between the Empire of Rinsha Adynshra and the Duchy. Unlike the northern forests, the Myr Wood is light on its edges and progressively gets thicker and darker as one nears the center of the wood. Heavy coastal storms keep the forest wet and a haven for any number of molds, slimes and other unpleasant things. It is home also to the Church of the Wild dedicated to Anthia.

Long ago the Myr Woods was once the the western tip of the forest Farithik.

It was once home to the grand elven realm of Quis Nal'T Kana before it was nearly destroyed by invading demons, far dirrg, aurox and other foul beasts.
