Nyx

The Plane of EverDarkness, Nyx is a plane of absolute darkness, fear and nightmares. It is a dark realm that hates the light. Nyx is a world of black white contrast, it is filled with high mountains, craggy hills, dense forests and deep swamps.

Nyx is similar to the Prima Terra in may respects as it plays off the familiar to horrify travelers and plunge them into landscapes filled with nightmares and other things of horror and fear. Everything is twisted and warped. It is a highly morphic plane that changes to feed into the fears of travelers and those that are permanent residents here.

Prominent within the plane is the floating Citadel of Night. It is residence to a horrific inanic, a shadow demon. The Citadel of Night can be seen from nearly every point in the plane, yet it is nearly impossible to reach.

Nyx has the following traits:

Philosophy· Evil; Good creatures are unable to rest or relax; All travelers to the plane suffer a despair penalty causing all actions to suffer -50 to all attempts

Gravity· Normal

Time· Normal (Time moves normally as in the Terra)

Energy Trait· Gain 1 point of insanity for every week within the Plane

Magic Trait· Normal (All magic functions normally)

Infinite Size · The plane may expand infinitely (its borders are bound by its connections to the other planes.)

Nyx borders Urnuith, and Mitlan.

Portals from Nyx to other planes outside of Neter-Kheret appear as shadowy areas.

Planar Inhabitants

Those of the Plane Nyx are is a home to all sorts of nightmarish creatures from aracs, nightmares, dream demons, gwrach and night terrors.
