Obsidian Order

From World of Kralis

The age of this order is lost to the sands of time. Legends hold that the order was founded sometime before the First Age of Kralis, but there has been no factual evidence of this. The Obsidian Order came to prominence in the early half of the First Age after the destruction of the Kalabah of the Barony Michan of the Eastern Realms. It is assumed that group, made up of not only mages, fighters but assassins seized control of the City of Kalama and set about the domination of the lands around the city. Many reports from this time indicate that nearly all the members of this order are the faithful of Nyraxia or Azahak. Eventually the city was reclaimed by overwhelming forces from the north. This loss drove the order deep into the deserts of Eastern Realms and the Southern Realms.

Its obvious that this order is made up of several factions. It is held together by both dogmatic and spiritual glue maintained by the faith or domination of Nyraxia and Azahak. When they lost the City of Kalama, each faction moved further into the realms of the world, each setting up their own establishments within some of the greater cities of the world.

This order is made up of 14 leaders known as the Azhalm. Each of these leaders control their own faction through fear and obedience. All the leaders, despite their own evil desires, agree that their philosophy is to be based upon rulership through fear and might and overtones of subjugation of all races to achieve their goals.

Now the Obsidian Order is a wide ranging group through out the world. They are dangerous, evil and always striving for their one end goal: World Domination by the Order. Their activities vary from region to region and city to city, but each moves in accordance to specific plans created and laid out by the meetings of the Azhalm.
