Pandemonium

From World of Kralis

One of the three planes of Qarna Prime, Pandemonium is a plane of chaotic darkness. It is a perfectly flat plane made up of black obsidian stone and besieged by unending gales of cold wind. There are a few holes that exist here and there in the stone that lead down to maze like corridors that spread through out the underbelly.

Known also as the Howling Plane, Pandemonium is realm of insanity as those that find themselves either trapped here or traveling through are often stricken with a random insanity as the howling winds of the plane make such harsh, screaming noise as it blows over the holes in the stone. No natural light exists on this plane and those that are magical in nature can be seen for miles in the pitch black of the plane's infinite darkness.

Planar Traits

Pandemonium has the following traits:

Philosophy · Neutral; Only those of a neutral philosophy gain any rest here. All others suffer a -50 to all skill checks while on this plane.

Gravity · Normal (Gravity has the same effect as in the Terra)

Time · Normal (Time moves normally as in the Terra)

Energy Trait · Every day while on the plane, travelers must make a Wits check at a TS of 15 or gain one random insanity every day while in the plane.

Magic Trait · Wild (All magic functions as though it were wild)

Planar Links

Pandemonium borders Fynglum, Discord, and Juriika. Links to this plane appear as pools of absolute darkness.

Planar Inhabitants

There are no inhabitants on the Howling Plane. Those few beings that are encountered here, other than the souls of the lost and insane, are travelers from other planes or dimensions.
