Shinial Og

In Panthian tradition Shinial Og (also spelled Sinyl Ogh) is a mythical kingdom hidden deep within the Sazar Crys mountains. It is mentioned in many ancient texts that predate the rise of humanity in the north. Shinial Og is Latish meaning "Ancient Resting". It sits in a deep valley, somewhere in the northern half of the mountain range. This valley is surrounded by the high, snow covered peaks and set in perfect spacing all around the valley are 30' tall basalt stones, which are covered in layers of colorful moss. The center of the valley is dotted with several large lakes of a golden hue and set in the absolute center is a massive stone temple that rises high into the sky.

It is said that the kings of old Panthias and Nashatras came here to retire from the world, to live in immortal peace and tranquillity. Yet, there are ancient writings describing it as a place of ancient evil where beings from other dimensions and worlds wrecked havoc upon the lands around the valley and that the basalt stones surrounding the area were set by kings of old to contain the evil from other worlds from escaping the valley.

Whichever is the case, those that look down from the mountains upon Shinial Og are often left with a sense of doom, many upon seeing the golden waters of the lakes in the valley become unstable and at times mad men as they remember the sights of the valley. Many of which include seeing strange beasts flying through the air and moving about the valley floor.
