Most of the States recognize a very strict social structure: lords, peasants, craftsmen and merchants. Each State is ran under a type of feudalism, however, each State does not recognize the authority of another State in this concept. Rather each State is seen and treated as a completely different political entity and sometimes adversary. Most of the States are formed by wealthy and powerful families that have subjugated lesser families or groups. Many times this is done is a very violent way, in other States this has been done through the effort of the people to support a specific family for various reasons.

Most of the States adhere in the concept of knowings one role in the web of relationships that create the community and behaving according to this role so as to ensure that society is both harmonious and strong. It is based upon the believe that rulers should be rulers, subjects should be subjects, as fathers should be fathers, and sons should be sons. It is at the very core of a master and servant. However, despite the fact that this is meant to facilitate social harmony, many States abuse this power, truly making slaves from their subjects.
