Stone of Inethril

These blood red stone balls very in size from 10" in diameter to over 24' in diameter and are used to contain magic that are created from blood sacrifices. All the stones are a deep blood red. When they are being used they pulsate from deep red to a bright red. They are often used to harness and focus magical energies, most are used to power larger items such as the Gates of Kralis and the mighty and ancient Kithar, as well as the casting of the [Barrier], a spell created by Rayche Blackstone.
Many mages and wizards use them in magical experiments as well as powering portals in other planes of existence.
Creating a Stone of Inethril is a long a difficult process that requires a mage to get a hold of a perfectly chiseled stone of a specific diameter, which is based on the amount of blood or fatigue that the stone is meant to contain:

Once the stone has been procured, the mage must then sacrifice the appropriate amount of either Fatigue Points or Health Points as required by what he is attempting to do. Immediately (1 to 2 hours) following this the mage must then cast Gird Object and Permanence.
