Svartal

From World of Kralis

Known as part of the Inner Planes of Disorder, Svartal is a meeting place of oppositions. Unlike, Urgaard, Svartal is a plane mixed with bits of the all the other planes. It is touched with evil and good philosophy. It is truly a neutral realm where angels and demons co-exist as well as wage war with each other. It is a plane filled with opposition. It is a place where all planes touch and all planes connect at some point. Not all connections are alive or active, many have been destroyed or moved as the planes shifted and moved.

Known as the Land of Doors, it is a place where travelers can access portals or doors to not only other planes but other dimensions and time.

It has no physical attributes like those of other planes, no land, no sea, it exists in a void of space, where stairs lead to other stairs that lead to platforms and others that lead to doors and portals.

Planar Traits

Svartal has the following traits:

Philosophy · Neutral; Only those of a neutral philosophy gain any rest here. All others suffer a -50 to all skill checks while on this plane.

Gravity · Absent (Gravity has no effect)

Time · Normal (Time moves normally as in the Terra)

Energy Trait · Regain all Health and Fatigue; Lose any gained Insanity

Magic Trait · Wild (All magic functions as though it were wild)

Planar Links

Svartal borders Limbo, Chaos, Hunier and Valnir. Because the plane made up of stairs, platforms, doors and portals it links to untold number of planes, places, and dimensions. Some scholars believe that the power behind the Gates of Kralis actually draws its energies from this plane.

Planar Inhabitants

Svartal has no natural inhabitants, those that are found in this plane are primarily travelers, angels and demons.
