Special Abilities

Absorption The creature can absorb magical energy and spells anytime that it is targted by a non-area effecting spell. It can absorb up to 10 points of magical damage per Willpower Modifier. This ability can be used three times per day.

Armor Damage The creature’s claws are able to tear into an opponent’s armor ripping it to pieces. For every 5 points of undefended damage the creature does it does 1 point of Armor Damage, reducing the defender’s armor absorption.

Battle Frenzy When the creaure becomes Battered, the creature flies into a battle frenzy until it is killed or is returned to a non-battered state. The creature becomes immune to critical hits, the creature gains +30 to its attacks and +15 to its Physical Defense.

Enhanced Attribute The creature has an enhanced Perception. It gains +75 attribute bonus to any Perception checks.

Frenzy The creature can enter into a frenzy that grants it a bonus of 4 points of natural armor per 10 Stamina and gains double its Stamina Modifier in bonus damage. This frenzy lasts for 1 turn and can be used three times per day.

Hard to Kill The creature’s Holding Zero is increased from 0 to two times its Stamina or Willpower modifier.

Light Sensitivity The creature is highly senistive to light and takes a -15 penalty when in light greater than Overcast days.

Rending The creature is able to tear apart its target. Whenever the creature makes a successful attack with 4 or more successes it can tear at the target causing it an additional bonus amount of damage equal to the creature’s Strength Modifier. This bonus damage ignores light and medium armor absorption.

Wounding Strike Any living being that is damaged by the creature will bleed the creature’s attack skill attribute (Strength, Agility or Perception) attack bonus every 5 phases.

A turag is the mutated version of a jirryndi and are a large savage beast that is a deadly predator that is found in many remote wilderness areas in all types of environments. They are thickly built with dense muscle and hardened bone. Making them nearly impossible to kill. They stand roughly 10 feet in height and roughly 5 feet wide and weighing about 3,500 pounds. They are a deep grey to black in color with massive hands that end in three claws. They have a short, stubbed tail. Their wide feet, measuring nearly two feet in width, end in four major claws.

These massive creatures are extremely fast on their feet despite their weight and have been known to shred a man in half with its massive claws.
