Yashur-Da

The Yashur-Da is one of the reasons why the good folk of Kralis fear the knight. These dark priests of Azahak, fulfill the darker, more sinister commands of the Church of Decay. They are dedicated to causing as much harm to the world of Kralis and its inhabitants. They have strong connections with the Junda. They are delvers into dark priestly magics that pull on the very chaos of Azahak, amplifying the dark, destructive forces of the Lord of Darkness.

The priests that make up this sect are quite willing to give up their own lives if doing so better serves the Lord of Darkness, making the Yashur-Da a particularly deadly and dangerous foe of those who espouse the doctrines of Azahak's enemies.

The church is segmented into a number of individual cells that operate independently. All the cells in a given geographical are under the control of a single high priest. These priests communicate with each other, but rarely provide information to their subordinates, only doing so on a need to know basis.

The Yashur-Da exist to perpetuate itself and spread the influence of Azahak in a more direct fashion than that of the Church of Decay. These goals are advanced by working secretly to undermine and corrupt governments, religions and persons dedicated to good. While this is very similar to those of the Church of Decay in general, priests of Yashur-Da do these deeds from a deep devotion to evil, chaos and the Lord of Darkness and an unwavering obedience to her worldly representatives.

Any given cell of the group does take on a variety of clandestine operations, as dictated by its superiors. Often these cells do not know why they are to take on a specific operation.

The Yashur-Da typically avoids open conflict with targets or other religions. Much of the organizations resources and energy are devoted to bringing as much hurt to the various operations as possible.
